The 24/7 Jogging Shoe allows you to enjoy all the benefits of a jogging shoe without having to take it on and off every time you use it. The 24/7 Jogging Shoe consists of the All Terrain sole and a faux leather upper part which is glued to the outer hoof wall. There is a small hole in the center of the sole to allow the hoof to breathe and give access to flush out to avoid bacterial infection etc. The application process is fast and easy due to the cable tie fastening system, and the shoe can be applied to the hoof within minutes.

The sole is thick and has an aggressive tread design with an optimal break-over which provides dampening and stability. The testing we did at The Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences showed that the rubber sole reduces the maximum loads on the hoof at the early landing/touchdown phase.

The upper attaches to the hoof wall in the front and sides only and everything sits below the hairline.

The engineered flexible and elastic jogging shoe, allows the hoof to sink into the rubber sole and allows the hoof to have full contact with the sole to promote natural blood flow and natural hoof functions.

The 24/7 Jogging Shoe doubles as both a performance boot/shoe for riding as well as a therapy boot for hooves that need protection whilst healing.

Be sure to measure carefully before ordering as the fit has to be much more precise with these shoes. If you need help please contact us for assistance.

The following information will help you measure your horse's hooves in order to select the correct size boot.

Measure the length of the hoof from the toe to the widest part of the frog. This universal measurement works for healthy, underrun and low heels.

Measuring for low heels

Measure the width of the hoof at the widest point, making sure the ruler is parallel to the heels.

equine-jogging-shoe-measure-width

Repeat for each hoof that you want boots for as measurements often vary between hooves.

Taking measurements both before and after a trim is ideal. Alternatively, take them straight after a trim and then add 1/8" (4mm) for growth.

If the length is longer than the width first use the length measurement to select the corresponding size, then use the width measurement to decide if you need the regular or slim.

If the hoof is wider than it is long, then you will need to choose the size that corresponds to the width. For example, a hoof that is 12cm long and 12.5cm wide would need the size 13 boot.

Please contact us if you need help with the measurements.

To double-check your measurements you are welcome to send us a photo of each hoof with a measuring tape or ruler in place as shown in the photos below. Be sure to include the whole of the (clean) hoof in the shot and have the camera parallel to the hoof. Photos of the hoof on the ground taken from the front and side are very helpful too.

Can I use the 24/7s for endurance, jumping, dressage or driving?
Yes, they are suitable for all disciplines.

How long will they last?
When the hoof is thoroughly prepped before application they should last between 4-6 weeks with each application. They can be reused once if they are removed carefully, although some people are able to get a third application out of them but that is not the norm.

Are the 24/7s left or right specific?
No, you can use them on either side.

Can I turn my horse out wearing the 24/7s?
Yes, and the rubber soles make this brand the only glue-on on the market that actively helps promote healing.

Do I need them on all four feet?
That is really personal preference. It depends on distance covered and type of terrain. Many owners just use them on the fronts but some horses prefer to have them all round.

Do I require the same size 24/7s on the front and rears?
Not necessarily. Always take hoof measurements of each hoof separately. Many horses have smaller hind feet and some have different size front feet. The 24/7s require as snug a fit as possible for best performance, and generally require one size smaller than the horse would need in the boot models, so be sure to use the 24/7 sizing chart when ordering, or contact us to double check.

Where can I ride with the 24/7s?
You can ride anywhere, on any terrain, at any speed, with 100% hoof protection.

Are the 24/7s comfortable for my horse?
The Equine Fusions are the most comfortable glue-on on the market as they feature a unique rubber sole. This is a big advantage over all other plastic glue-ons as it allows the sole to flex with both the ground and the hoof providing protection and stimulation. The uppers attach bellow the hairline which prevents rubs that can occur with boots, even with extended use such as in rehab situations.

Can I use the 24/7s over metal shoes?
No.

Can the 24/7s get waterlogged?
No, there is an opening on the sole to prevent this.

Do the 24/7s offer good traction?
Yes, they offer superb traction on all surfaces including aggressive mountain terrain, creek beds, asphalt and loose gravel, and studs can be added for increased traction on ice or slick grass/mud.

How easy are the 24/7s to put on?
They are easy to apply as long as you thoroughly prep the hoof and have all the materials organized prior to application.

Are the 24/7s comfortable for my horse?
Yes, the sole flexes and absorbs shock with each step, and dental impression material can also be added to give extra support for the back of the hoof, if required.

Are the 24/7s good for snow and ice?
Yes. Unlike plastic glue-ons, the rubber sole does not get hard in the cold weather so it provides excellent traction in snow. Studs are also available for sheet ice conditions.
